I initially saw Dr Burn’s free offerings on U-Tube, then discovered his website, and tried out the free series of 5 videos, and was then tempted to buy the bundle of 3 special reports. I was impressed by the videos and the reports, and finally decided to buy his courses 1 & 2, for which there was a special offer.
I was not disappointed. I have learned a lot from Dr Burns, and I think I will continue to learn from him, as a I go back over his courses and videos. I think I am already a better and more successful trader, making perhaps fewer, but more thoughtful, rational trades, with a good success ratio.
Dr Burns is a (relatively) unsung hero of the trading world, but I can now see exactly why people have praised him so highly. It is all well-deserved.

I friend of mine told me about Top Dog Trading 5 day free courses. I was impressed by how Dr, Burns delivered the trading basics that I decided to buy course one and two. I am still reading the manuals and listening to the videos. So far I have to say my money was well spent. I enjoy the pace, and the teaching is crystal clear. I thought I knew a bit about trading, but I was wrong. There is a lot to learn in his courses. Too bad I did not know about Dr. Burns and Top Dog Trading before. I could have made fewer mistakes.

Dr Burns course so far is great.
I started with the 5 day mini course and because he demonstrated superior knowledge in the art of trading and the skills to teach, I purchased his Top Dog Trading courses 1 & 2. He has a way of teaching that has not been the case in other courses I have taken and there has been quit a few.

Dr. Barry Burns teaching methodology and unique understanding of the markets is currently helping (I’m pretty new at this) my trading career. Quite simply, Barry Burns is “the man” who actually understands what it takes to be a successful trader and, most importantly, because of his wonderful teaching ability, he conveys his knowledge very clearly in his courses. I strongly recommend that anyone who wants to become a profitable trader or improve their trading, take his courses and study them carefully. And Barry’s support is top notch. Overall, he’s a 10 in my book.

This the first course that I have taken where it is the real thing – Dr Barry Burns is an un assuming but very intelligent teacher and he keeps it simple. What a refreshing change from all the rest! I’ve spent a long and frustrating time trying to succeed as a trader but Dr Burns’ courses have given me an order of magnitude improvement in my understanding of markets and trading.
Dr Burns doesn’t offer bogus quick fixes or ‘magic’ indicators but he does provide sound education on how to trade successfully.

Trying to learn this trading business is a minefield. Having paid thousands for so called elite courses and still not confident, I stumbled across Top Dog Trading, and I must add that I was wary of the name. However I checked it out and tried the free videos and first impressions were of the simplicity of the teaching style. I decided to buy courses 1 & 2 and actually feel educated for the first time in 2 years of studying. Even if I don’t go on to use any of the strategies, (which at this point I will certainly give them a go) I now have a much clearer understanding of the market moves. Barry’s approach has really made me take stock of all the complicated indicators and strategies out there and has encouraged me to re-think the keep it simple approach. The courses have been a breath of fresh air and I actually feel that at last I have got REAL value for money.

I came in contact with the 5 free videos Dr. Burns offers just by chance while surfing the internet and they were very informative so I bought course no. 1 , now I wish I had bought both courses as course 1 is that good.I am new at this so I have much to learn and sure hope I can put all this to good use.I have emailed Dr. Burns a couple times now and he answers the emails very quickly.It is very obvious he loves trading and cares about his students .

I found Dr. Burns while surfing the web. I tried the free 5 day course and liked his teaching style. I bought course 1 & 2 and following his advice I paper traded for many months. I subscribed to the Video Newsletter which is where the real fine tuning of your trading comes in to play. As you can see from the previous reviews, Dr. Burns has a devoted following, and for good reason. It works! I have tried so many newsltters and trading courses… I have lost count. They all made big claims and they failed to work as advertized, but not Dr. Burns. If you follow his trading rules you can make money. I can honestly say that I trust Dr. Burns. That says it all for me.

For serious traders (or those who aspire to be) I would highly recommend Dr. Burns training material. Well constructed and easy to follow, the lessons bring a greater understanding to the technical aspect of navigating chart patterns. The proper application of his methodology insures minimal risk per trade and propotionally more winning trades. His insightful approach is akin to the laboratory researcher who uses scientific methods to arrive at conclusions that prove the theory. His frequent follow up videos help to further ones grasp of the hands on application of this vital knowledge. It is particularly useful in any type of trading using charts and a PC. I STUMBLED ACROSS Dr BURNS WHILE SURFING THE NET, I TRIED THE FIVE DAY FREE COURSE AND I WAS THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED SO MUCH SO I PURCHASED COURSE 1, I AM CURRENTLY WORKING THROUGH THE VIDEOS AND FOLLOWING THE MARKETS (DOING SMALL TRADES AT THE MOMENT USING THE METHODOLOGY, AND I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE MORE WINNERS THAN LOSERS).

Before listening to Barry Burns, I thought I knew a great deal about technical analysis.I realised soon after his tuition that I had much to undo and relearn. Now I can look at a chart and more clearly recognise waves and cycles. BB is relaxed, and patient and inspires confidence. He is a great teacher and stresses that we cannot foretell the future, but we can trade with the odds on our side. His videos are the best teaching tools I have come across.

I stumbled over Barry Burns website by chance and WOW, I’m glad I did.
I had only been trading a few months and subscribed to his free 5 day course after my first visit. On the third day I bought both Course 1 and Course 2 based on the information shared in those first three days of the free course. What I liked was Dr Burns approach to teaching. There is no “I’m so great at this” blowing his own whistle, it’s just great information explained in a friendly and very informative style. I’ve worked through the material several times and each time pick up something extra, or a principle becomes clearer.
It’s allowed me to time entry into trades better and, more importantly, has kept me out of a couple of trades which would have been losers, before Dr Burns course i would have been tempted to get into them. Plus it’s got me out of trades I would have still been in when they turned and started to lose some of the profit from them, my exit strategy is better.
The £2000 2 day course run by another company, whilst worth every penny in it’s own right, did not teach the principles taught by Dr Burns for considerably less, and Dr Burns method applied to what i already understood has made a considerable difference. I thoroughly recommend signing up for the 5 day free course to see Dr Burns style, and i thoroughly recommend both course 1 and 2 of his foundation course.

I found Dr. Burns’ website while surfing the net and signed up for his free 5-Day course. I’ve been trading for years, and I can say that I “got it” more from that simple little course than anything else I’ve read or studied. I purchased his Courses 1 and 2 and am currently reviewing them over and over, and am very pleased with not only the simplicity of the indicators but with Dr. Burns’ emphasis on the mindset that makes for successful trading. His Trading Journal exercise is absolutely the best exercise for learning where a trader needs to improve, and I think that aspect of the course is every bit as important as reading the indicators, which by the way are also very clear and easy to understand. Wish I’d met you years ago! Thanks for answering my emails promptly also.

Stumbled across the site, did the five-day course, and signed up for the courses 1 and 2. Glad I did, because it saved me some AUD7000, for another course which would have no clear advantage, and I was just about to sign up for.
Had a few challenges with my computer after I had downloaded, and the response, especially at the weekend, was, considering the 14 hour time difference between here (Australia) and the US, fantastic.
Now working my way through, and enjoying it thoroughly. I am sure I will be further on my way to Financial Freedom very soon.
